OUR HEART AND HISTORY

At the Hilton Head Island Seafood Festival, we are proud to be part of a unique annual event that helps provide meaningful support for local causes. We strive to give back and create an unforgettable experience for seafood lovers and non-seafood lovers alike. Each February we bring people together in celebration of the region's fresh seafood while providing valuable contributions towards organizations such as The Coastal Discovery Museum, Island Recreation Scholarship Fund, Waddell Mariculture Center, Port Royal Sound Foundation, Gullah Heritage Museum, Pockets Full of Sunshine, Volunteers in Medicine, Beaufort County Schools, Children’s Center and many more. Your participation means more than just a week of pleasure. It's a step towards supporting education and conservation efforts that ensure the sustainability of our beloved coast. Together, we're not just celebrating southern charm; we're contributing to a future where generations to come can enjoy the richness of our environment and culture.

The David M. Carmines Memorial Foundation was established by The Carmines family with a mission to serve the Hilton Head Island and Bluffton community while honoring their son. Through our annual Hilton Head Island Seafood Festival, we work to make a difference in our home and pay tribute to those who have come before us - while sharing some of the best seafood on the Island! Each and every ticket we sell helps to provide funds for non-profits that benefit our beloved Lowcountry, offer meaningful experiences rooted in Southern hospitality, and bring people together with a shared love of seafood. We are proud and humbled to be part of this vibrant community; giving back has never tasted better.
